What makes this project particularly noteworthy is that it will make eSwatini one of the greenest countries in the world. It will also allow its partner, Eswatini Electrical Company (EEC) to sell power via the Southern African Power Pool agreement to countries as far north as Tanzania and the DRC
The Location allows South Africa to reuse there Grid with a renewable base load and save a $15 billion grid upgrade, money that would be better spent on GIH rather than facilitating Wind, Solar and Batteries
